Safety and comfort on the ello.

Safety features are hard to compare because they all sound the same in the brochure. So here they are sorted by situation, not by component.

Uphill and downhill

Sensors detect inclines and activate the brakes to reduce the speed. You do not hold back, the rollator holds itself back.

When you stumble

The same sensors detect stumbling movements and reduce the speed. If the rollator tips over, a warning tone also sounds.

When you need to be noticed

A horn lets you draw attention to yourself. If ello tips over, it sounds automatically.

When it gets dark

Lights forwards, downwards and backwards, plus reflectors on the wheels. The light does not just make the path visible, above all it makes you visible.

When sitting

The seat height is 553 millimetres. You sit down without dropping yourself, and get up again without pulling yourself up. The parking brake holds the rollator while you do.

When carrying and stowing

12.5 kilograms is the weight you lift into the boot. That is made possible by the high-tech glass fibre composite. Folded, the ello measures 357 × 833.5 millimetres and so fits in most car boots and in the luggage space on the train. The battery is removable, for the train, the plane and charging at home.

When shopping

The shopping basket is removable and carries up to 5 kilograms. On the climb, the motors take on the weight of the rollator and your shopping.

What you should check yourself

At the medical supply store, do not just ride over the carpet. The four places where a rollator proves itself are outside the front door: cobblestones, a kerb, a slope and the moment when you briefly stop paying attention.
